BLVD Association Launches Partnership with Desert Haven to Beautify The BLVD

The BLVD Association has contracted with Desert Haven Enterprises to conduct cleanup and beautification efforts throughout the downtown BLVD district. Two Desert Haven crews will work daily Monday through Friday to ensure the general cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of The BLVD.

“The BLVD Association is proud to partner with an organization of the caliber of Desert Haven Enterprises,” said Tim Anders, president of The BLVD Association and owner of BeX Grill. “Desert Haven performs an incredible service to our community, and their staff has done an excellent job working with a number of individual downtown businesses, including BeX. We are delighted to be able to expand this partnership throughout the entire downtown district.”

Desert Haven crews, dubbed “Clean Teams,” will engage in a number of cleanliness activities, including removing trash and debris; assisting with landscaping; sweeping; cleaning street furniture; and more. These services will augment the City of Lancaster’s existing maintenance services on The BLVD.

“It is our honor and privilege to partner with The BLVD Association to keep downtown Lancaster looking its very best,” stated Desert Haven’s Executive Director, Jenni Moran. “The members of the ‘Clean Teams’ are ready and eager to put their skills into action in support of this very important beautification project, knowing that when our City looks good, we all look good!”

Services will be provided not only on Lancaster Boulevard itself, but throughout the downtown district, which is roughly bordered by 10th Street West; Sierra Highway; and Kettering and Milling Streets.

“Our goal is to guarantee that BLVD patrons have a positive experience when frequenting the downtown area,” said Myrle McLernon, Chair of The BLVD Association’s Clean & Safe Committee, owner of MDM Architects and co-owner of Kinetic Brewing Company. “Desert Haven’s efforts will help protect the beautiful ambience of The BLVD, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all to enjoy.”
